Regional pre-COP meeting 2018: Europe

Delegates representing forty-eight Contracting Parties are attending this week in Olomuc, Czech Republic, the European preparatory meeting for the 13th Conference of the Parties (COP13). At the opening ceremony Secretary General Martha Rojas Urrego emphasized that measuring and monitoring national wetland extent is crucuial and key to conserving wetlands and guranteeing they continue to provide benefits for people and the planet.
