Ramsar France Association has recently published an innovative guidebook covering 19 out of the 42 Ramsar Sites in France featuring their services and biodiversity. The guidebook provides explanations along short itineraries to discover all different types of wetlands, their landscape, hydrology, habitats, plants and animal species. The book is richly illustrated with photos and colour drawings. Calls and songs of amphibians and birds can be accessed on-site with the help of a smartphone and QR codes provided in the guidebook.
