Anusha Shivram

Junior Professional - Technical Support (Asia / Oceania)

Anusha holds an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management from the University of Oxford and BSc Honours in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of British Columbia. Her research on smooth-coated otter ecology in Singapore and human-wildlife interactions culminated in a publication in the Journal of Mammalogy and has influenced wildlife management strategies.

 

In her previous roles, Anusha has worked as a Manager of Projects at the National Parks Board Singapore and as a Research Assistant at the Nature Based Solutions Initiative at Oxford. Committed to fostering international cooperation for conservation efforts, Anusha has represented the University of Oxford at CBD COP15 and Singapore at the ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Forum in 2021. Passionate about youth involvement in conservation efforts, she organised the inaugural World Wildlife Day Southeast Asia Youth Symposium.
