The Lancang-Mekong River is the largest river wetland in Southeast Asia shared by six countries: Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. They are members of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC).
The Wetland Conservation and Management Cooperation Program is sponsored by Chinese government and organized by National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA), aiming at promoting multilateral cooperation to protect wetlands in the Lancang-Mekong region.

1. REGIONAL SEMINAR ON WETLAND CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION

Yunnan province, China
This seminar is designing for Director-general or above level officials who work on wetland conservation, management and other related fields, as well as the senior technical staff or teachers in research institutes interested in these fields. Depending on availability of funds, the total number of invited participants from each eligible country (Cambodia, Lao, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) will be limited from 5 to 8.
2. TRAINING COURSE ON WETLAND CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION
August, 2019, 10 days in total
Yunnan Province, China
This training course is designing for government officials, managers, researchers or staff members of NGO, who work on wetland conservation, management or related fields. Moreover, the total number of invited participants from each eligible country (Cambodia, Lao, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) will be limited from 5 to 8.
