Seminar on Wetlands and Migratory Bird Conservation and Management – Invitation for Application

The Seminar on Wetlands and Migratory Bird Conservation and Management will be held in China from 25 June to 15 July, 2018.

This three week-long seminar is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, P. R. China and co-organized by the Office of Wetland Conservation and Management, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration (SFGA), P. R. China (Ramsar Administrative Authority of China) and International Forestry Science and Technology Training Center of SFGA (China National Bamboo Research Center, or CBRC). In 2017 the seminar was attended by 24 participants from 14 countries.

The seminar will cover a variety of topics concerning wetland management and migratory birds’ conservation. Field trips to wetlands and national parks will be arranged.

Who are invited to apply for participation:

  • Government officials, scientists and technicians;
  • Persons who work in the field of wetlands and migratory birds conservation and management, or in relevant forestry and environment administration in developing countries;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
