Charlene is the Conference Assistant for the Secretariat where she provides administrative support to the Deputy Secretary General and Implementation Support Team as well as manages conferences and meetings of the Governing and Subsidiary Bodies. After obtaining her Business Administration Diploma, Charlene has held Event Manager, Marketing & Communications Executive and Senior Executive Assistant positions in various international companies dealing with sustainable packaging, beverage, printing and event management. She now enjoys aligning her professional competencies to an area of personal conviction, conservation of nature. Charlene grew up in South Africa and has lived in Switzerland for most of her life. She is fluent in English, French, German, Swiss-German and conversational Spanish.
