The Recommendations adopted by the 1st Conference of the Contracting Parties did not have titles; the titles below have been supplied. There were no Resolutions. At the time of the 1st COP, there were no official French and Spanish versions of the Recommendations, and the French and Spanish translations provided here were published for the information of the Parties attending the 5th COP, Kushiro, Japan, 1993.
