Annette Keller retires after years of service to IUCN and Ramsar

And in honor of her retirement, in addition to the travel voucher affectionately bestowed by her colleagues and in lieu of the traditional gold watch, she gets the privilege and responsibility of CHAIRING the weekly staff meeting.

The Chairperson, Annette Keller, arrives at the Ramsar staff meeting in her own good time, after all the staff present in the Secretariat have been waiting in anticipation for long moments.

The Chairperson greets Ramsar staff members on one side of the room, who seem particularly merry today.

Ramsar staff members on the other side of the room also seem not to be taking the new Chairperson seriously.

Oh, that's why.
