Born in Amsterdam, educated in Brussels and Montreal; studied business at Sir George Williams University. With KPMG in Montreal for 7 years, finally as office manager. Moved to Toronto and served as sales representative, and eventually Product Manager, in the field of computerized laser printing. Lived in Germany in 1985-86. Moved in 1989 to Carmel, California, where she became a Real Estate Broker and operated her own business brokerage, selling small businesses. In 1996 moved to Switzerland, where her husband Keith is a Research Fellow at the University of Neuchatel who gives courses on Integrated Water Resources Management. Working languages: English, French, Dutch, and German.
