Worked with IUCN-the World Conservation Union from 1983 to 1991. Joined the Ramsar Bureau in 1991, first as Programme Assistant for the Ramsar Small Grants Fund (SGF), since August 1999 as Administration Coordinator of the Convention Bureau. Annette is Swiss and holds a translator degree from the Complutense University in Madrid and the diploma from the "Institut universitaire d'études du développement", Geneva University. Studied and worked abroad during many years (UK, Italy, Algeria, Germany, Spain) before returning to Switzerland in 1980. Languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian.
