The Convention’s CEPA Programme

Developing Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) as a powerful tool for the conservation and wise use of wetlands

Welcome to the CEPA mini-Web site

What's it all about?

It's about implementing Resolution VIII.31 on the Convention's CEPA Programme, which aims to develop communication, education and public awareness critical tools for the Convention. Download the 3d Edition of the CEPA Programme handbook here.

The Resolution calls for the Convention's Web site to become a clearing house for CEPA resource materials and this CEPA mini-Web site aims to do that and more. It is also designed to give readers a broad view of what the CEPA programme is trying to achieve, and identifies the institutional structures and materials that are intended to guide implementers of the programme. Start here to see what materials are available.
