2 February, World Wetlands Day is rapidly approaching. For the 2017 edition, we invite you to join us and raise awareness around the theme “Wetlands for Disaster Risk Reduction” Today we’re thrilled to announce that all outreach materials are now available to download at www.worldwetlandsday.org.

These three sheets can be used as hand-outs or as mini-posters and provide information about the value of Wetlands for Disaster Risk Reduction.

 How can you help?

  • Please help publicize WWD 2017 and encourage youth to participate in the Wetland Photo Contest that runs from 2 February to 2 March 2017.
  • Consider acting as a local organizer of wetland site visits for youth and/or hold educational events targeting other groups.
