The Secretary General and his assistant, Mireille Katz, present the longtime MedWet Coordinator Thymio Papayannis with a Ramsar site diploma which inscribes him into the Ramsar List of Wetland Advisors of International Importance.

Thymio proudly displays his site diploma, signifying immortality of a sort.

Joao Fariñha, on behalf of the MedWet Team, presenting Thymio with a painting of sandpipers.

The MedWet Com field study tour . . . .

. . . with two Ramsar sailor gentlemen luckily not responsible for steering.

Tour du Valat team members preparing to go overboard if the Ramsar Sailor General should approach the tiller.
