Threatened Waterfowl Specialist Group sets up new list

Subject: Threatened Anatidae
Dear Fellow Forum Members,
Some time ago, we in the Threatened Waterfowl Specialist Group established BBETA, the Bulletin Board for European Threatened Anatidae, a list-server maintained by The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge, in order to exchange news.
We are now expanding the scope of this list-server and changing the name to the TWSG-Forum, and using it for on-line exchange of news about globally threatened or near-threatened Anatidae from anywhere in the world. We encourage anyone with an interest in threatened waterbirds to subscribe, and hopefully to submit news.
To subscribe, please send an e-mail message to "TWSG-Forum-request@wwt.org.uk" (not case sensitive and without the quotes) with the word "subscribe" (again not case sensitive and without the quotes) in the main body of the message and leaving the subject heading blank. Please remember to disable any automatic signatures you may have while carrying out this process. To unsubscribe simply replace the word "subscribe" with "unsubscribe". To circulate a message to all TWSG-Forum members simply send your message to "TWSG-Forum@wwt.org.uk".
We do not envisage a large volume of messages, so please don't be put off joining by fear of having your in-tray filled to capacity. When submitting information please note that we may include such items in future issues of TWSG News.
