National Planning Tool / National Report Format for COP9 is ready in English

The English version of the National Planning Tool / National Report Format adopted by the Standing Committee at its meeting on 26-28 February 2003 is available for Parties preparing their work in implementing the Strategic Plan 2003-2008 and reporting on their progress to the 9th meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties in Uganda in November 2005.

It is important that Parties meet the deadline for submission of the National Reports, which is 28 February 2005, so that the Secretariat can complete its analyses of the status of implementation for circulation to the Parties with the agenda papers in advance of COP9.

It's recommended that users read the attached Explanatory Notes before working with the form.

Administrative Authorities that have questions about working with the NR format or difficulties with the files are encouraged to contact their Regional Advisors in the Secretariat, and observers who have difficulties should feel free to contact ramsar@ramsar.org with their questions.
