Request for side events during COP9

If you wish to organise a side event during COP9, please print, fill in and send the attached form by fax to the Ramsar Secretariat (+41 22 999 0169).

Please note that, due to transport limitations, the only time slot available for side events at the Speke Resort is from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m.

All the rooms available for side events are fully equipped with a screen, a computer projector, a DVD/VCR, in-room microphone facilities, etc. The rooms are available free of charge, except for catering services.

Please note that this request form does not guaranty a venue for your side event. You will be contacted by the Ramsar Secretariat after 30th September if your proposal has been approved.

You can organise an unofficial side event in different locations, at a different time slot, but please note that the Secretariat will take no responsibility for these.

Let us know the date and time of unofficial side events if you want us to advertise them during the COP.
