CONTRACTING PARTIES WHOSE NATIONAL REPORTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE ANALYSIS
Oceania (3): Australia,
New Zealand and
Papua New Guinea.
In order to facilitate the assessment of implementation progress and future priorities and needs, the statistics are structured using the 21 Operational Objective "themes" of the new Strategic Plan. To help this, relevant actions in COP8 National Planning Tool have been identified in relation to each of the new Strategic Plan's Themes and Operational Objectives. The available indicators are listed under each section in the tables below.
NOTE: Certain Operational Objective "themes" of the new Strategic Plan may have not relevant actions in COP8 National Reports, or have no actions relevant to Contracting parties. On the other hand, some indicators may have some relevance for more than one Operational Objective "theme". Finally, for most indicators total that is used to calculate the percentages is the total number of National Reports in the analysis (i.e. total number of Contracting Parties whose National Reports are included in the database). Where this is not the case, it is indicated in the indicator description.
KEY TO TABLE HEADINGS
PCTYES: Percent of Contracting Parties answering YES.
PCTPRG: Percent of Contracting parties answering YES or PARTLY or IN PROGRESS. That is, some progress in relation to the relevant indicator has been made.
