Training for participatory wetland management (15/07/05)

Good afternoon to all,

A course on designing the processes of dialogue, learning, negotiation and decision making among multi-sectoral wetland stakeholders is offered between 12 September – 01 October, 2005 at Wageningen, Netherlands. A follow-up for the International Training of Trainers on Wetland Management (ICWM-TOT, the course ‘Facilitating Multi-Stakeholder Processes and Social Learning’ is offered by the International Agricultural Centre (IAC). Steps to achieve understanding of the various views of stakeholders within a catchment area, and to explore how far such separate views can be shared, is one of the main issues covered by the course.

A course brochure and the application form are available at http://www.iac.wur.nl/iac/courses/module.cfm?code=61/50/2005.

Should you need any further information, please contact Simone van Vugt (simone.vanvugt@wur.nl).

Should you be interested in other IAC courses or activities of IAC please, visit www.iac.wur.nl

With my best regards
