Naturathlon for the CBD's COP 9 (12/03/08)
Good afternoon everyone:
Ever heard of a Naturathlon? No? Then read the message and follow the web link below from David Ainsworth, Programme officer for the CBD on CEPA issues. They are planning a Naturathlon for the CBDs COP 9 a 10-km race involving as many nationalities as possible to represent global biodiversity. More details below.

I am excited to transmit to you the announcement of a sports event devoted to Biodiversity which will take place at [CBD] COP-9. The mayor of Bonn and Ahmed Djoghlaf will open the event, just prior to the first day of COP-9.
We hope to get participation from as many parties to the Convention as possible
