Malheureusement, il n'y a pas de version française de ce document.
In their neverending pursuit of cultural diversity, the Ramsar Bureau staff and collaborators do Catalan cuisine, 28 April 2001 (Scots and Belgian are in the project development phase for the coming months)
On the left: the hostess, Paulette Kennedy, who welcomed everyone to her house in Signy, partially to get preferential Catalan helpings and partially to celebrate her husband Keith's completion of his PhD.
The chef, Montserrat Riera, from the Catalan region of Spain. Nick Davidson and Linda Bridge observing.
Crowd scene (featuring, among many other still untold stories, Montse's husband Fran at 3.3 meters tall, a dog who is not on the Ramsar payroll, a full kit of Pakistani national costume, and visitor Gordana Beltram from Slovenia)
Another crowd scene (same crowd) (many of the same untold stories)
The chef prepares to call in the crowd and dash to safety before they hit the table in a cresting wave.
This is only some of it.
