Dear Valerie Higgins,
Thank you very much for your letter with the message and photograph of Secretary General of Ramsar. We have incorporated the message and photo in the third page of our proceedings of the National Seminar which we released on the last day,2nd February 2002. I will send the printed copy soon.
As you know that the National Seminar was commenced on 31st morning with the inauguration . Then the presentation of research papers related to Wetlands for three days. In fact, it was very successful and completed nicely with the valedictory function on 2nd February.
The local news papers highlighted our programme with maximum importance and a very good responses received from the public. I will put a good number of photographs of the National seminar in our web site and inform you within two weeks. Today I send you a copy of the news of the inaugural function of seminar which was appeared in the English news papers.
I conclude this message here, please inform about this message to Najam Khurshid and, if possible, to Secretary General too. Moreover, we expect your maximum helps and cooperation in our future ventures.
