Appreciate if you can help to post this info on our activities planned for WWD 2001 on your web site (feel free to extract or summarise):

Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary, Sabah, Malaysia.
To celebrate the World Wetlands Day, Photographic Competition, Poster Drawing Competition and Poem Recital Presentation is being organised jointly by a few NGOs and the Teacher Support Group of the Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary.

*Photographic Competition
Theme: Sabah Wetlands - in contrast (each entry must make up of 2 photos in contrast, e.g. a pristine wetland and a polluted wetland.)
Categories: A. Primary – age 7-12; B. Secondary – 13-18; C. Open – age 18 & above
Deadline: 5 February 2001

*Poster Drawing Competition
Theme: Sabah Wetlands - A World to Discover
Categories: A. Lower Primary – age 7-9; B. Upper Primary – age 10-12; C. Lower Secondary – age 13-15; D. Upper Secondary – age 16-18
Deadline: 5 February 2001

*Poem Recital Presentation
Theme: Sabah Wetlands – A World to Discover
Languages: Bahasa Malaysia or English
Date of Presentation: 18 February 2001 (Sunday)
Venue: Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary
1 entry per school (can be in group or individual)
Time limit: 5 minutes.
Own composition encouraged.
Presentation style: own creativity (by music, etc.)
