Wetland documents in Russian and Arabic

Wetland documents available in Russian:

1. The Secretariat is pleased to announce the completion of translation of a set of key Ramsar documents into Russian in response to requests by, and in consultation with, our focal points in the Russian Federation and other Contracting Parties where Russian is still a widely used language.

The following documents are now available on our web site as PDFs:

• Res. X.19 with Annex: Wetlands and river basin management: consolidated scientific and technical guidance
• Ramsar Convention Manual (4th Ed)
• Handbook 1: Wise Use of Wetlands (3rd Ed)

 2. Another document now available in Russian is one of my favourite CEPA publications Learning together to Manage Together. Improving Participation in Water Management.  It has been translated into Russian by an NGO in Moldova, Eco-TIRAS (information from Ily Trombitsky, Eco-TIRAS, Moldova’s NGO CEPA Focal Point)
