4th WLI-Asia Newsletter (09/01/08)
Dear All,
For your information, the latest (4th) edition of the Wetland Link International-Asia (WLI-Asia) newsletter has been produced and placed on the websites of WLI http://www.wwt.org.uk/text/297/.html and WLI-Asia http://www.wli-asia.org/en/EdResource_NewsLetter.asp.
In this issue, there are a range of articles, including how different people are promoting greater awareness of wetlands and their wildlife, e.g. in Pakistan and China, as well as an article on the WLI-Asia Symposium which was held in Hong Kong earlier in the year. At the symposium, many participant mentioned the problem of finding enough financial support for the work that they do. As a result, we decided to provide a case study on how one particular donor, HSBC, has been supporting the work of a number of wetland centres in Asia.
We are now starting work on the 5th WLI-Asia newsletter so if you have any news you would like to share with other wetland centres in Asia, then please contact either:
Tom Anson <tom.anson@btinternet.com>,
