World Wetlands Day in the Mediterranean - celebrations by the MedWet Secretariat (29/01/08)
For World Wetlands Day 2008 the Secretariat of the Mediterranean Initiative of the Ramsar Convention - MedWet in collaboration with a number of partners in Corsica and in Greece is launching a series of events. Included in this year’s program are a series of screenings devoted to the theme of water and wetlands as well as awareness raising activity launched with the public transport system in Athens, Greece.
