Research guidelines about Marsh Mugger Crocodile (08/07/05)

Dear All

I am having my M.Sc.(Zoology) thesis on Population status and Habitat Use of Marsh Mugger Crocodile in Beeshazari Lake, a Ramsar site, Nepal.

I am in need of proper guidelines about the appropriate methodology about survey and population status and habitat analysis methodology of Marsh Mugger Crocodile.

If someone has done research on Marsh Mugger crocodile, it will be of great advantage if I can get their research article and the institutions that deal in Marsh Mugger crocodile.

The invasive alien species have affected badly to the Marsh Mugger crocodile habitat in Beeshazari lake.The invasive alien species are affecting wetland and creating degradation in habitat and helping the process of succession.

Thus conserving wetland should take care also about the effect of invasive alien species. If someone have done study about the effect of invasive alein species and wetland, please share the knowledge .
