Implementation of the Ramsar Convention in general, and of the Ramsar Strategic Plan 2009-2015 in particular, during the period since the National Reports were prepared in 2008 for Ramsar COP10

The deadline for receiving National Reports in the Secretariat, in order for them to be included in global and regional analyses for COP11, was 15 September 2011.

Reports are in English, French, or Spanish as they were received from the Parties.

From the first meeting of the Ramsar Conference of the Contracting Parties in 1980, countries have submitted National Reports on their implementation of the Convention. National Reports constitute a vital source of information on the implementation of the Convention at the country, regional, and global levels, and once submitted to the Secretariat become public documents. National Reports are posted here in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
