"In order to enhance coherence and cooperation in implementation, a liaison group has been established between the heads of the secretariats of the five biodiversity-related conventions. Guangchun Lei, the Senior Advisor for the Asia-Pacific, is in Canberra, Australia, 21-24 March 2006, for the East Asia Australiasia Flyway Partnership Working Group Meeting. The meeting aims to finalize the Partnership text and the Strategy and was organized by the Government of Australia, and it will include some 22 participants from most of the member countries along the flyway, as well as the Ramsar Convention Secretariat and the Ramsar Partners Wetlands International, WWF, and BirdLife International.
