Ramsar opening for Intern for the Americas region
The Ramsar Secretariat welcomes applications for the position of Intern/Assistant Advisor for the Americas region, a 12-month posting (possibly extendable up to 18 months) in the Ramsar Secretariat in Switzerland to begin in mid-January 2010.

Here is a checklist of Ramsar’s requirements for this position:
- You are under 30 years old.
- You have a university degree (preferably a post-graduate qualification) in a subject relevant to wetland conservation and sustainable use, such as, biology, hydrology, marine sciences, natural resources management, land use planning, geography or anthropology/sociology.
- You are a national of countries in the Americas region (which includes North, South and Central America and the Caribbean), and have lived most of your life in the region.
- You have perfect fluency in both Spanish and English.
