World Wetland Network Globes

03/08/2011

Dear All,

The World Wetland Network (WWN) has recently launched the second round of the WWN Wetland Globes, awards designed to recognize best and worst practice in wetland management.  It’s open to NGOs, civil society groups and individuals to vote; simply go to http://www.worldwetnet.org/awards/, register, select a wetland and vote!  All Ramsar sites are listed, but you can also add other internationally or nationally important wetlands that you know.
The deadline is March 2012, and results will be announced at the Ramsar COP next year.  For last year’s results please go to http://www.worldwetnet.org/awards/results/

Best regards,

Chris
