Building Capacity for Biodiversity Conservation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (06/03/07)

Good afternoon everyone:

This training course is only open to applicants from Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) region and has a very tight deadline!.

The training course is organized by Earthwatch Institute (Europe) and the Field Studies Council with financial support of Partnership for Environmental Cooperation in Europe. Participants will be trained to monitor wetlands (as well other habitats and a range of plants and animals) and collect data that will aid in their conservation. Participants will also receive training in environmental education techniques and how to involve local communities in biodiversity monitoring. The training course dates will be: Course 1 - 11th to 25th June. Course 2 - 2nd to 16th July.
