MSc programme on protected area management (20/04/07)

Good morning CEPA list members:

The MSc course on management of protected areas at Klagenfurt University will start again this September 2007 (running over two years through a number of specific 15-days modules, essentially open to European and Ugandan students). The Ramsar Secretariat participates in the advisory board of the course, and Ramsar staff members have participated in some of the lectures.

Caroline Stuchetz from the University of Klagenfurt writes: "The successful MSc-Programme Management of Protected Areas will start again in September 2007. The 'outstanding educational offer' is open for (future) managers, planners and consultants of protected areas. Please find our most recent newsletter at: http://www.mpa.uni-klu.ac.at/index.php/plain/forum/newsletter/mpa_news_07_04_17 and refer to the Web site: http://www.mpa.uni-klu.ac.at.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me under the following e-mail: mpa@e-c-o.at. Kind regards, Caroline Stuchetz."

With best regards, Sandra Hails, Ramsar Secretariat
