Models for CEPA Action Planning - COP9 side event (16/03/06)

Good morning everyone:

Some of you may know that a number of CEPA side events took place during Ramsar’s COP9 under the broad heading CEPA in Action. I would like to draw your attention specifically to a report from one of these, Models for CEPA Action Planning, organised by the CEPA Specialist Group. This report will be of interest, I’m sure, to the many Ramsar CEPA National Focal Points on this elist and hopefully to other members too - the link below will take you to the report. The side event benefitted from presentations from six of Ramsar's CEPA National Focal Points on their experiences in CEPA action planning, showcasing a range of approaches at different scales rather than a single best model approach.

I’ve also provided links to reports from the other CEPA in Action side events or to other sources of information on these initiatives where a report is not available.
