Special 40th stamps issued for the Convention’s 40th anniversary in Argentina and Moldova

Moldova launched 2,000 anniversary stamps on the occasion of the Ramsar Convention’s 40th anniversary. This is a joint initiative from our Administrative Authority, the Department of Natural Resources and Biodiversity in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and the Eco-TIRAS International Environmental Association (Ramsar's NGO CEPA Focal Point).

On the occasion of the Ramsar Convention´s 40th anniversary and World Wetlands Day, the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development of Argentina with the Argentinean post office launched 10,000 postcards and a postal seal. These products are accompanied by a brochure promoting the ecological importance of wetlands worldwide (PDF in Spanish).
