Peru; Ramsar Bureau, 1999-2000

Bachelor of science degree in Botanical Science from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, currently in progress on her Master’s degree in Tropical Botany in the same university. Until recently a collaborator in the university’s Laboratorio de Dicotiledóneas, Departamento de Botánica, Museo de Historia Natural. Her thesis was on the natural history of Typha domingensis Persoon "slender cat-tail", including aspects of its population dynamics, in the Pantanos de Villa Ramsar site; also participated in projects related to flora inventory of the highlands. Her principal interest is focused on the conservation and management of the highland "La Puna" wetlands, especially transfrontier wetlands.
