Significant events in the life of the Ramsar Bureau - International Women's Day 2001

As Ms Germaine Greer addressed the International Women's Day festivities down the road at the International Labor Organization in Geneva, 8 March 2001, in Gland, Switzerland, Ramsar's Secretary General Mr Delmar Blasco played caterer and bartender for the women of the Ramsar Bureau.

The Secretary General pours out some of the half-price bargain beer and serves up the bread and goat cheese, as everyone prepares to raise a toast to the women of the Ramsar Bureau.
