Minutes of the 21st Meeting of the Ramsar Convention Standing Committee
The Bureau of the Convention on Wetlands (Ramsar, Iran, 1971) presents its compliments and has the honour to refer to the following:
The Ramsar Convention Bureau is pleased to enclose the Minutes and attachments of the 21st Meeting of the Standing Committee held in Gland, Switzerland, from 19 to 24 October 1998, as required by Rule 16 of the Rules of Procedure of the Standing Committee. The Minutes of the 21st Meeting were approved by the participants at the close of the meeting.
The Bureau also encloses the texts of the decisions taken by the 21st Meeting of the Standing Committee and the List of Participants. In order to reduce translation costs, the List of Participants has not been translated into French and Spanish.
The Bureau of the Convention on Wetlands respectfully requests that the content of the present Note be communicated to the competent national authorities and avails itself of this opportunity to renew the assurance of its highest consideration.
