Sweden, World Wetlands Day 020202 in Strängnäs

Dear Valerie,

Even this year we had our exhibition in a shopping centre in Strängnäs.

Besides presentation of the Convention on Wetlands we showed our RAMSAR wetland, Sörfjärden, and other local wetland projects.

Total about 150 visitors, a good figure and some of them spent a long time of studying and discussing the exhibition.

The exhibition was made possible by a cooperation between Ekoteket, the Agenda 21organisation in Strängnäs Community, and the local organisation of The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC).

We enclose some pictures.
