Dokka Delta

Here is some information about our WWD lecture.

The Dokka Delta National Wetlands Centre and Randsfjordmuseene organised a lecture at Lands Museum (one of the 3 museums that make up Randsfjordmuseene).

Biologist John Øyvind Albertsen (see enclosed photo) gave an illustrated talk about the doctoral research he carried out in on the swans and wetlands in East Hokkaido in Japan, with special focus on Lake Akkeshi and the Akkeshi wetlands centre.

This was a very international theme, which we think fitted in with it being a world wetland day.

Even more appropriate – it coincided with the announcement of the findings from the U.N Climate Report group.
